Frequently Asked Questions

What do I paste into the bulk generator?

Plain text: one URL or text entry per line (comma-separated also works). Copy a column straight out of Excel or Google Sheets and paste it in - each line becomes its own QR code. No CSV headers, no special format required.

How many QR codes can I generate in one batch?

Up to 100 per batch. If you paste more, the list is truncated to the first 100 and the counter tells you how many were cut. For larger jobs, run several batches - there is no daily limit and no fee.

How are the files named inside the ZIP?

Each QR code is saved as a PNG named after its content - "https://example.com/menu" becomes https___example_com_menu.png (special characters are replaced with underscores, trimmed to 40 characters). All files sit in a qr-codes folder inside the ZIP, so you can match every image to its entry at a glance.

Do bulk-generated QR codes expire?

No. Every code is a static QR code: the URL or text is encoded permanently in the pattern itself, with no redirect service behind it. The codes in your ZIP work forever - there is nothing to renew and no account that can lapse.

Is my list of URLs uploaded to your servers?

No. The entire batch - parsing, QR generation, and ZIP packaging - happens in your browser. Your list never leaves your device, which makes the tool safe for internal links, asset tags, or unpublished product pages.

What size and format are the generated codes?

You choose the output size before generating - four presets from 256 pixels up to 2048 pixels square - and every code in the batch is rendered at that size as a PNG. For print, pick one of the two larger presets; the smallest is fine for on-screen use.

Can I bulk-generate WiFi or vCard QR codes?

Yes - the generator encodes each line exactly as pasted, so lines in WIFI: or BEGIN:VCARD format produce working WiFi and contact codes. Multi-line payloads like full vCards need to be collapsed to one line per entry; for a handful of contact codes, the dedicated vCard tool is more comfortable.

Why would I use this instead of generating codes one by one?

Time. Labeling 50 assets, printing table numbers, or tagging a product line means dozens of near-identical codes - pasting the list once and downloading a single ZIP beats fifty copy-paste rounds. The output is identical to the single-code generator.
