Frequently Asked Questions

Does this only work with Google Forms?

No — paste a link from any survey platform. Google Forms, Typeform, SurveyMonkey, Microsoft Forms, Tally — if it has a sharing URL, this tool turns it into a QR code. The tool doesn't care what's at the other end of the link.

Does QR Code Zebra see my survey questions or responses?

No. We only encode the URL — we never fetch it or look inside it. Your survey content, respondent data, and admin access stay entirely between you and your form provider.

Can I update the survey link after printing?

No — static code, fixed URL. If the link changes, generate a new code. Tip: if you're using Google Forms, you can edit the form content without changing its share URL, so the QR code stays valid even as you update questions.

How do I check the link works before printing?

Open it in a private/incognito browser window to see exactly what a respondent sees. Confirm it's public and accepting responses. Then paste it here.

Is there a limit on how many people can scan?

No. The code points directly to your URL — nothing routes through our servers. A hundred people or a hundred thousand, same experience, no extra cost.

Do respondents need a special app to scan?

No — the native camera app on any modern iPhone or Android works. After scanning, the form opens in their default browser. No extra software, no friction.

Can I track how many people scanned vs. completed the survey?

QR Code Zebra has no tracking. But your form platform does — Google Forms shows response counts, Typeform shows conversion rates. For scan-level data, add a UTM parameter to your URL before generating the code and track it in Google Analytics.

Best format for flyers?

SVG for print — scales to any size without blurring. PNG if you're embedding digitally in a document or presentation.
