Enter digits after the dial code you picked above. If you paste a full international number or a copied tel: link, we normalise it. The QR stores plain +country…number (not the word “tel”) so scanners don’t mis-read keypad digits.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when someone scans this?

Their phone shows a prompt to call the number. They tap it, the dialer opens with the number ready, and they hit call. No typing, no misdialing.

Will the call start automatically?

No. Every phone requires the user to confirm before dialing — it's a built-in safety measure. The number will be pre-filled in the dialer, but they always choose when to call.

Does this work on all phones?

Yes. The QR encodes your number in international format (starting with +). Phones recognise that as a phone number and offer to call — iPhone, Android, anything with a dialer app. We use plain +digits rather than the letters "tel:" in the QR because some scanner apps mis-handle "tel:" and turn those letters into keypad digits (8‑3‑5), which garbles the dial string.

Can I change the number after printing?

No. This is a static code — the number is encoded into the image. If your number changes, generate a new code. Takes about ten seconds.

Is my number stored anywhere?

No. Everything is generated in your browser. There's no server involved, no database, no record of your number anywhere on our end.

Why use a QR code for calls?

It removes friction. Someone reading a poster, scanning a business card, or checking a shop window doesn't have to type a number. They scan, tap, call. For customer enquiries, that reduction in steps matters.

Do I need the country code?

Yes, include it. Without it the code may not work for anyone calling from a different country or using an international SIM. The dropdown makes it easy to select the right one.

What size should I print it at?

Phone number codes are short, so the QR pattern is simple. 2 cm × 2 cm is the minimum for reliable scanning. Download SVG for any print use — it scales to any size without losing sharpness.
